Seven days so launch day is boring, and boring is the goal. Monday’s checks, Tuesday’s safety nets, Wednesday’s warm-up, Thursday off, Friday live, then the echo and the close. I’ve run this for other people more times than I can count.
Click every link, including on your phone, and press the buy button with a real card and refund it afterwards, and test the email signup with your own address. Boring is the goal all week, and today is where most of the boring gets done.
Write the “it’s live” post today rather than on launch morning, because the version you write calmly is better than the one you write at eight in the morning. Draft the ten personal messages as well, so name and link and one real reason you thought of them, and park everything still imperfect on a list titled “after.”
Post the almost, so one photo or one line about the thing that’s coming on Friday, and it isn’t a countdown and it isn’t a tease campaign, because one honest “this is nearly done and I’m nervous” does more than either of those, and it’s also true.
Nothing goes out publicly today, so sleep and walk and cook and let the week sit for a day. You aren’t behind, because Thursday IS the plan, and launching tired is how the typos get in.
In the morning you flip it live and click the links once more, and at midday the post goes up and the ten messages go out, and in the evening you reply to everything, even the emojis. Nothing gets redesigned today, because today is the day the thing exists and that’s enough for one day.
Share one behind-the-scenes thing, so the desk or the draft folder or the number of times you renamed the file, because business is people helping people and the person is the part somebody is deciding about.
Thank everyone who shared it, and then write down what got clicks and what got quiet and what somebody asked that you didn’t expect, because that page is next month’s marketing plan and you’ll have earned it in a week.

Nothing gets added to launch week during launch week, so new ideas go on the “after” list and they’ll still be there next week. The week is a track and not a brainstorm, and that’s the whole reason it ends with you launched instead of rescheduled.
do this nowThe monday checks take one evening, so start them tonight and tick the box when they are done, because the page keeps your week on this device and it is here when you come back.
Yours to keep. Step 6 of Get It Live builds this week from your actual launch, the posts, the ten people, the two-week plan.
