30 bio lines.

Thirty ways to say what you do, for Instagram, the podcast form, and your mom’s friend. I rewrote mine for a year before I noticed I only ever needed one that fit the box. Swap the ‹brackets›, copy, done.

The fill-in-the-blank ten

Swap the ‹brackets› and keep the shape, because the shape is the part that took the work and the words are the easy bit.

[ 01 ]
I make ‹thing› for ‹people› who are done ‹pain›.
[ 02 ]
‹Job title›, minus the agency markup.
[ 03 ]
I help ‹people› go from ‹before› to ‹after› without ‹the dreaded part›.
[ 04 ]
The person ‹people› call when ‹thing› has to actually get done.
[ 05 ]
‹Thing›, done by someone who’s done it ‹number› times.
[ 06 ]
Your ‹job› for the week you need one.
[ 07 ]
I turn ‹messy input› into ‹clean output›.
[ 08 ]
‹Craft› with opinions. You’re paying for the opinions.
[ 09 ]
Small business ‹job›. Actually small. Actually yours.
[ 10 ]
I do the ‹thing› you keep moving to next week.

The short ten

These are for the tight character limits and for the people who scroll fast, so they say one thing and then they stop.

[ 11 ]
‹Thing› for ‹people›.
[ 12 ]
Fixer of ‹problem›.
[ 13 ]
‹Outcome›, minus the drama.
[ 14 ]
The un-agency.
[ 15 ]
‹Job›. A few clients at a time.
[ 16 ]
Ask me about ‹niche thing›.
[ 17 ]
Making ‹people› look like they have a team.
[ 18 ]
‹City-free›, online, everywhere.
[ 19 ]
Booked by word of mouth mostly.
[ 20 ]
Since ‹year›. Still into it.

The personality ten

Use one of these at most in any single bio, because one of them gives somebody a person to picture, and two starts to read like a bit, and the bio stops sounding like you.

[ 21 ]
Powered by deadlines and one strong opinion.
[ 22 ]
My toxic trait is finishing things.
[ 23 ]
Been the whole marketing department. Twice was enough.
[ 24 ]
Will absolutely judge your font. Kindly.
[ 25 ]
Perfection is a stall tactic. Launching isn’t.
[ 26 ]
I read the analytics so you don’t have to.
[ 27 ]
Here to end your ‹thing› rewrite cycle.
[ 28 ]
Friendly, fast, allergic to jargon.
[ 29 ]
The brief can be a voice memo. Honestly better.
[ 30 ]
Live > perfect. Every time.

How to pick

Take one from the first ten so people know what you do, and one from the second ten for the hook, and maybe one from the third for the human part, and that’s a whole bio. Then you stop, because a bio that tries to say everything ends up saying nothing, and the boxes are small on purpose.

Yours to keep. If the bio is done and the captions are the problem, they were for me, 120 captions is in the library and works the same way.
